Basketball Recap: Oakdale Comes Up Short

Oakdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Sunbright Tigers and fell 75-45. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-40 last Saturday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sunbright to victory, but perhaps none more so than Garrett Rogers, who posted 31 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Bunch, who scored 20 points.

Oakdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Sunbright, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakdale has already played their next match (against Harriman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sunbright will face off against Greenback at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
