Baseball Game Preview: Quitman Panthers vs. Enterprise Bulldogs

The Quitman Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Enterprise Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Quitman has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 13th.

Pisgah hit Quitman with a ten-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Dragons, falling 14-1.

Daniel Peters made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and earned one run and three stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Enterprise fell victim to Mize and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to Mize. Considering the last time Enterprise couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Enterprise, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Quitman skirted past Enterprise 11-9 when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
