Basketball Recap: Genesis Beal Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Nature Coast Tech + How To Watch

Weeki Wachee won the last time they faced Nature Coast Tech and things went their way on Friday too. The Hornets managed a 38-33 win over the Sharks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Weeki Wachee's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Genesis Beal, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 boards. Beal is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Priester, who posted 13 points and eight boards.

Several Sharks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Madelyn Depetrillo, who put up 16 points and eight rebounds. Gabby Dross was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight steals.
