Basketball Recap: Genesis Beal Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Nature Coast Tech + How To Watch

Weeki Wachee won the last time they faced Nature Coast Tech and things went their way on Friday too. The Hornets snuck past the Sharks with a 38-33 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Weeki Wachee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Genesis Beal, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 boards. Beal is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isabella Priester, who posted 13 points and eight boards.

Several Sharks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Madelyn Depetrillo, who had 16 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Dross, who scored 11 points and eight steals.
