Baseball Recap: Biloxi Comes Up Short

Biloxi fell victim to Archbishop Rummel and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Archbishop Rummel Raiders.

Biloxi got a good showing from Avery Tisdale, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Biloxi saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristain Haynes, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Haynes has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Biloxi's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Archbishop Rummel, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Biloxi has already played their next game, a 7-5 win against East Central on the 22nd. As for Archbishop Rummel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-0 victory against Pearl River Central on the 14th.
