Lawrence County won the last time they faced Arab and things went their way on Thursday too. The Red Devils walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights.

While Lawrence County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-14.

Lara Anne Norwood paced Lawrence County's offense, picking up seven kills. Norwood got some help from Kathryn Dutton and her seven assists. Ava Templeton controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lawrence County's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Arab, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
