Soccer Recap: Richlands Extends Winning Streak to Four

The matchup between Richlands and West Carteret on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 8-1 win. Kamrey Watkins was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

The victory (which was Richlands' fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four matches. As for West Carteret, they dropped their record down to 5-6-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
