Football Game Preview: Lansingburgh Knights vs. Scotia-Glenville Tartans

The Lansingburgh Knights will challenge the Scotia-Glenville Tartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Lansingburgh's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Scotia-Glenville has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Friday, Lansingburgh ended up a good deal behind Schalmont and lost 21-6.

Despite the defeat, Lansingburgh saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Anari Fredericks rushed for 161 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Fredericks really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.

Meanwhile, Scotia-Glenville came up short against Ichabod Crane on Friday, falling 31-6.

Lansingburgh's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Scotia-Glenville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Lansingburgh strolled past Scotia-Glenville in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 by a score of 20-6. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
