Football Recap: Philo Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four contests, Philo finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Sheridan Generals, falling 28-7. The matchup marked the Electrics' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Leading Sheridan to victory were Logan Russell and Logan Hupp. Russell rushed for 195 yards and a pair of scores, while Hupp gained 92 total yards and two touchdowns. Hupp showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 50 yards.

Philo's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Sheridan, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
