Soccer Recap: Boiling Springs Takes a Loss

Boiling Springs lost against Eastside back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Boiling Springs fell just short of Eastside by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Boiling Springs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Eastside are ranked 15th).

Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Eastside, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Boiling Springs is set to square off against their familiar foe Dorman at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eastside will face off against rival Gaffney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
