Soccer Recap: Elk Rapids' Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Elk Rapids was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Kingsley on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Elks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harbor Springs Rams on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Harbor Springs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.

Elk Rapids' loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4. As for Harbor Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Elk Rapids wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Rochester on the 2nd. As for Harbor Springs, they will head out to take on Grayling at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
