Baseball Recap: Nanakuli Takes a Loss

Nanakuli managed to slip by Radford the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Nanakuli lost 12-1 to Radford on Saturday. The Golden Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Nanakuli saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sonny Ramos, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Nanakuli now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Radford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Nanakuli will face off against Kalaheo at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kalaheo has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.8 runs per game on average), something Nanakuli will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Radford, they will host McKinley at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Radford is facing McKinley at the right time seeing as McKinley is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
