Everett extended their home winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Ava Urbanozo. The Seagulls blew past the Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks 3-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Urbanozo, who had 34 assists and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 21 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-18.

Everett's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Marysville-Pilchuck, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Everett is set to challenge their familiar foe Stanwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Marysville-Pilchuck will face off against rival Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
