Volleyball Recap: Edison Private Comes Up Short

Edison Private was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Avant Garde Academy Sharks, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-14.

Edison Private's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Avant Garde Academy, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0.

Edison Private didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Horeb Christian on the 18th. As for Avant Garde Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Franklin Academy on the 18th.
