Mount Pleasant entered their tilt with North Stanly on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the North Stanly Comets with a sharp 74-51 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

Mount Pleasant's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points over those games. As for North Stanly, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers face off against the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Pleasant knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Union Academy likes a good challenge.
