Volleyball Recap: Rancho Cotate Takes a Loss

If Rancho Cotate was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Casa Grande on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Homestead Mustangs on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Rancho Cotate still got an impressive performance from Roxana Corona, who had ten digs.

Rancho Cotate now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Homestead, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Rancho Cotate wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Vacaville Christian on the 30th. As for Homestead, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Middletown on the 30th.
