Des Moines waltzed into their contest on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Cimarron Rams 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 4th.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Des Moines was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

Des Moines' win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Cimarron, they moved to 6-14 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Des Moines is set to challenge their familiar foe Roy/Mosquero at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Cimarron will take on rival Maxwell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
