Basketball Recap: NCSSM: Morganton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rosman last Tuesday, NCSSM: Morganton came back down to earth. The NCSSM: Morganton Dragons took a blow against the Mountain Heritage Cougars on Thursday, falling 94-27. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

NCSSM: Morganton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Mountain Heritage, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

NCSSM: Morganton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mountain Heritage, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Draughn at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mountain Heritage's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 matchups.
