First Colonial had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Deep Run Wildcats on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for First Colonial, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Bryce Jones and
James Olansen, who scored both of First Colonial's goals.
First Colonial will head out on the road to challenge Hickory at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deep Run, they will take on J.R. Tucker at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
