Pioneer Valley Regional was sadly handed a defeat on Wednesday, but Layla Goulston did her best to prevent it. Goulston wasn't messing around, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. The contest was her third straight with at least one stolen base.

Goulston and Pioneer Valley Regional will square off against Franklin County Tech at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
