Soccer Recap: Petersburg's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Petersburg lost against Matoaca back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crimson Wave lost 10-2 to the Warriors. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Petersburg were already down 4-0.

Petersburg's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7-1. As for Matoaca, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Petersburg will face off against Dinwiddie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Matoaca, they will take on Mechanicsville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
