Franklin can bid farewell to their eight-match losing streak thanks to their match on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wilson Mules 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since September 18th.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (105-99) Franklin actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 15-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-11.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Wilson, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.
