Football Recap: Bath Has No Trouble Against Bellevue + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bath had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Bellevue Redmen as they made off with a 21-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won five games by 20 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Mikey Hale, who rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.

Hale was just one part of a punishing run game: Bath was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bellevue only rushed for 40.

Bath is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Bellevue, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Coming up, Bath will face off against Shelby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Whippets have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Bellevue does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
