Basketball Recap: Paige Anderson Key Part of a Team Effort in Warriors Win

Wausau West's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders by a score of 49-42. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-56 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wausau West to victory, but perhaps none more so than Paige Anderson, who went 7 of 11 en route to 15 points and five rebounds. Iris Waldvogel was another key player, going 8 for 15 on her way to 12 points.

Wausau West's record is now 6-13. As for Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Wausau West has already played their next match, a 71-32 loss against Mosinee on the 1st. As for Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, they will host Chippewa Falls at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
