Basketball Recap: Holton Comes Up Short

If Holton was riding high fresh off their 55-24 takedown of Crossroads Charter Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Holton Red Devils were beaten by the Western Michigan Christian Warriors 66-22 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 734th, while the Warriors are ranked 240th).

Holton's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Western Michigan Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Holton will welcome Mason County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Western Michigan Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
