Football Recap: Foundation Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Braydon Marks and Noah Mcmullen + How To Watch

Foundation Academy lost against Lake Highland Prep back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders. The Lions gained 71 more yards on the day, but it was the Highlanders that made the best use of them.

Foundation Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Noah McMullen and Braydon Marks. McMullen picked up 147 receiving yards and one score, while Marks threw for 325 yards and one TD while completing 72.7% of his passes. The Lions also got a significant boost from Sam Wood, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 98 yards.

Lake Highland Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eddie Bohne, who rushed for 155 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries. Another player making a difference was Brady Weber, who picked up 117 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Foundation Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Lake Highland Prep, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foundation Academy will take on Santa Fe Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Highland Prep, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Orangewood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 12th.
