Basketball Recap: Dupree Triumphs

While Dupree didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Harding County Ranchers by a score of 61-52 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Harding County still got an impressive performance from Cohen Smith, who went 8 for 10 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds. What's more, Smith also racked up two assists, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Ryder Hunsucker was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Dupree's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Harding County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Lemmon the next time they take the court. Dupree will host Lemmon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Harding County will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
