Football Recap: Screven County Wins Going Away Against Vidalia + How To Watch

Screven County lost to Vidalia back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Gamecocks blew past the Indians 28-8. The Gamecocks pushed the score to 28-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Indians cut but never quite recovered from.

Screven County has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points this season. As for Vidalia, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Screven County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Claxton at 7:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Vidalia, they will head out to face off against Tattnall County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
