Softball Recap: Salado Snags 19th Victory in Last 20 Games

Salado extended their postseason success on Saturday against Silsbee. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Tigers. Five seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Salado has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Silsbee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-14.

As of now, neither Salado nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
