Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ticonderoga). They strolled past the AuSable Valley Patriots with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 63-48. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Sentinels considering their 30-point performance the match before.

When it comes to explaining why AuSable Valley lost, don't look at Hayden Bombard. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave Bombard a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Blaise, who scored eight points.

Ticonderoga's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for AuSable Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Coming up, Ticonderoga will square off against Saranac at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for AuSable Valley, they will take on Saranac Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
