A Season-Best Effort from Julian Lewis Leads Carrollton over East Coweta
Julian Lewis produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Carrollton to the win on Friday. Lewis threw for 416 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.9 yards per attempt.
East Coweta's probably not too fond of Lewis given he always seems to get the better of them. Lewis threw for 455 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 15.7 yards per attempt the last time he and the Indians duked it out back in October of 2023.

On Friday, Westlake got the W thanks in part to Sean Smith playing the best football he has all season. Smith threw for 271 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes.
Westlake pushed their record up to 4-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Smith will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against East Coweta on Friday.

Travis Smith Jr Turns in Season-Best Performance
Westlake was led to victory by Travis Smith Jr, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Smith Jr picked up 191 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He has become a key player for Westlake: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least 80 receiving yards, but 1-4 otherwise.

Peyton Zachary's big game helped extend Carrollton's winning streak to nine on Friday. Zachary picked up 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.
Zachary and Carrollton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Douglas County at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st. Zachary will face off against Aaron Gregory, the Tigers' star pass catcher. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
