Volleyball Recap: South Milwaukee Takes a Loss

South Milwaukee lost against Port Washington back in September of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rockets fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Port Washington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Claudia Ryder, who had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces Ryder has posted over her last 11 contests. Another player making a difference was Emersyn Loose, who had ten digs and four assists.

South Milwaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Port Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

South Milwaukee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Whitefish Bay on the 20th. As for Port Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wauwatosa West on the 20th.
