Softball Recap: East Hamilton Comes Up Short

East Hamilton lost against Soddy Daisy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hurricanes took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Hamilton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madilyn Evans, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

East Hamilton's record now sits at 12-9. As for Soddy Daisy, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-12-1.

Coming up, East Hamilton will host Hixson at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Hurricanes are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Soddy Daisy, they will welcome Boyd-Buchanan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Buccaneers have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
