Basketball Recap: Linganore Takes a Loss

Linganore was the 47-43 winner over Governor Thomas Johnson when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Linganore Lancers received a blow on Friday as they fell 75-57 to the Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots.

When it comes to explaining why Linganore lost, don't look at Dylan Hodgson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. That's the most points Hodgson has posted since back in December of 2023. Cory Clark was another key player, going 6 of 11 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds.

Linganore's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Governor Thomas Johnson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Linganore will head out to take on Oakdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Governor Thomas Johnson and Frederick will compete for holiday cheer on Tuesday.
