A District 6 recap December 3, 2013

Talihina's Alan Lockhart rumbled for the longest rushing play in A District 6 this season in his game against Cashion last week. Lockhart ran for 83 yards on the play and finished with 265 on the day as his team bested the Wildcats.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Talihina beat Cashion 22-20. The victory was the 13th in a row for Kelly Gravitt's team.

Talihina's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Golden Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Lockhart has thrown for 1,511 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Christian Mcclain has 35 catches for 438 yards. Lockhart also leads the league in rushing with 1,488 yards.

The Golden Tigers and Lynn Shackelford's team played the closest game in A District 6 this week, with the Golden Tigers eventually emerging with a 22-20 victory. Lockhart threw for 80 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 265 yards in the win.
