Football Recap: Saddleback Comes Up Short

Saddleback had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 0-4 to make it seven. They fell 13-0 to the Norwalk Lancers. That's two games in a row now that the Roadrunners have lost by exactly 13 points.

As for Norwalk, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. That looming 13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Saddleback didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 46-0 loss against Sonora on the 20th. As for Norwalk, they will welcome Alhambra at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
