Basketball Recap: Richwood Lumberjacks vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Richwood was the 43-25 winner over Notre Dame when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Richwood Lumberjacks took a blow against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday, falling 58-16. The match marked the Lumberjacks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Notre Dame was led to victory by Selena Wilson and Addy Murray. Wilson dropped a triple-double on 16 points, 14 rebounds, and ten assists, while Murray went 8 of 16 on her way to 17 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season.
