L.C. Bird came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 45-40 W against the Patrick Henry Patriots.

L.C. Bird's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Imani Evans, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 15 points in addition to five boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sasha Hodge, who posted 11 points and five steals.

L.C. Bird pushed their record up to 20-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for Patrick Henry, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.

Looking ahead, L.C. Bird will square off against Fleming at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fleming will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something L.C. Bird surely won't give up without a fight. Patrick Henry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
