Basketball Recap: St. Michael's Comes Up Short

St. Michael suffered their biggest loss since January 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 74-23 defeat at the hands of the Antonian Prep Apaches. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Antonian Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Copeland, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 13 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Copeland a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Shaniyah Fox, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

St. Michael's has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Antonian Prep, they pushed their record up to 25-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
