Baseball Recap: Hendersonville Bearcats vs. Brevard Blue Devils

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Smoky Mountain, Hendersonville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Brevard Blue Devils. This was a revenge game for the Bearcats: when they faced off against the Blue Devils last Tuesday, they had to take a 12-2 loss.

Hendersonville let Martiste Mills and Wesley Mayo run wild. Mills scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Mayo scored a run while going 1-for-2.
