Football Recap: Alonso Ravens vs. Palmetto Tigers
Alonso couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 37-30 to the Palmetto Tigers on Friday.
Despite the loss, Alonso still got an impressive performance from Joseph Glennon, who threw for 332 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown. A healthy portion of that aerial production (95 yards to be exact) went to Julian Pryor.
Simeon Matt had an outrageously good game for Palmetto as he picked up 188 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Matt's longest reception was for an incredible 78 yards.
Alonso will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Robinson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Palmetto, they will head out to face off against Newsome at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
