Basketball Recap: Casteel Piles Up the Points Against Westwood + How To Watch

Casteel put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Westwood Warriors 72-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colts also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

Casteel's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Audrina Wenze-Atencio, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 steals. Wenze-Atencio is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Vivian Trimble was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Casteel smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Casteel's record now sits at 3-0. As for Westwood, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Casteel will be taking part in a tournament against Dobson at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Westwood, they and Horizon will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played.
