Softball Recap: James Madison Continues Home Dominance on Friday

James Madison waltzed into their match on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Oakton Cougars a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Warhawks have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

James Madison pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Oakton, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
