Cheboygan typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Manistique proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Chiefs by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Emeralds: when they faced off against the Chiefs back in August, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Manistique is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10-2 record this season. As for Cheboygan, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manistique will square off against Brimley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cheboygan, after both having extra time off, they and Charlevoix will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
