Baseball Recap: Whale Branch Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Whale Branch's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Bridges Prep Buccaneers on Friday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Buccaneers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Whale Branch's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bridges Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Whale Branch will be playing in front of their home fans against Edisto at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Edisto will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Whale Branch surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bridges Prep, they will head out to challenge Barnwell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Barnwell their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
