Football Recap: Godley Wildcats vs. Glen Rose Tigers
It was a proper cat-fight when Godley duked it out with Glen Rose on Friday. The Wildcats were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 56-21. The Wildcats lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 45-35 score last time.

Despite the loss, Godley still got an impressive performance from Adam Pempsell, who rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. Pempsell was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards. Ryder Papasan was another key player, having thrown for 250 yards and onetouchdown.
It was another big night for Judd Connally, who rushed for 192 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 12.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 196 yards and four TDs for Glen Rose. Connally's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 166 rushing yards. Luke Males was another key player, picking up 77 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
