Basketball Recap: Manheim Central Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Manheim Central waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders as they made off with a 69-49 win. Given the Barons' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Raiders are ranked 420th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Manheim Central pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Eastern Lebanon County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
