Volleyball Recap: Manhattan Indians vs. Olathe West Owls

Manhattan and Olathe West squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Manhattan had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olathe West Owls. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Owls apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2017.

Manhattan was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Manhattan still got an impressive performance from Janie Hilgers, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Hilgers has posted in her last seven contests.
