Lincoln Prep came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-2 to the Bisbee Pumas. The Lightning's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Lincoln Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacoby Weiss, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. Mason Sanchez-Petersen also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Lincoln Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Bisbee, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Lincoln Prep has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Horizon Honors on the 17th. As for Bisbee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-5 victory against Tombstone on the 18th.
