Jasper is 9-1 against Pike Central since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Jasper Wildcats will welcome the Pike Central Chargers at 8:00 p.m. Pike Central took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Jasper, who comes in off a win.

Jasper will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 24 points on Friday, then bounced right back against Wood Memorial on Saturday. Jasper enjoyed a cozy 58-42 victory over Wood Memorial.

Meanwhile, Pike Central took a blow against Gibson Southern two weeks ago, falling 81-33. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Titans are ranked 57th).

Pike Central has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Jasper, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Everything went Jasper's way against Pike Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as Jasper made off with a 45-21 win. Will Jasper repeat their success, or does Pike Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
